Are You a Real Estate Agent and Still Not Using Facebook? Read Why You Need to Sign-Up Now!

Realtor.com and Facebook teamed up back in November 2009 with an application called "See My Listings". This Facebook application allows realtor's to post their listings from Realtor.com to their Facebook profile or business page!  Realtors can now use their Realtor.com "Agent ID" and display all their listings on their Facebook Wall or their Facebook Page.  If you are a real estate agent, your listings are already listed on Realtor.com for FREE!   Expand your presence on-line, learn more about this must have application and show your listings from Realtor.com on Facebook.

To install the application, Go to apps.facebook.com/seemylistings

For detailed instructions on how to install the application to your Facebook profile or page go to:

Has anyone tried the Facebook to Twitter application & what are your thoughts?

I recently installed the "Facebook to Twitter Application" for a client after building their business page to try and make it easier and simultaneously update their Wall posts to their Twitter account.  I included a link to one of their real estate listings, used bit.ly to shorten the URL and posted the listing along with a description on their business page wall.  It seemed to work, but I was somewhat surprised that the URL did not point to the real estate listing, but back to the Facebook Wall post.  I understand the logic behind this, but honestly, it's not going to make Facebook any more viral.  I'm a big fan of Facebook, but it's not the only tool and I see a big difference between Twitter and Facebook and use them both.  I uninstall-ed the application (which took a Google search to find out how) ==> http://www.facebook.com/twitter/ and used the application "Hootsuite" which not only allows a user to post simultaneously to a Facebook profile, but also allows a user to post to their Facebook Page, Twitter, Twitter Lists, LinkedIn, Wordpress, and ping.fm.  I'm sticking with Facebook, but Hootsuite is my tool of choice to post simultaneously to multiple social media accounts.

A little humor for this snowy day in New Hampshire!

Daddy, how was I born?
A little boy goes to his father and asks "Daddy, how was I born?"
The father answers, "Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo, then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said:
